PricewaterhouseCoopers organises business skills workshops for students at Red Balloon-Cambridge

This term our students are going to take part in three workshops focusing on business skills, organised by PWC-Cambridge staff. The workshops are aimed at giving students confidence in applying for jobs, writing CVs, attending interviews and other work-related themes. The first workshop focused on team and leadership skills. Students had to work in small groups, gathering ideas for building a car (prototype) out of cake. The students experienced working effectively in groups, negotiating with one another and then building the prototype in a team effort. Each group then had to pitch their idea of a perfect car to the rest of the students and staff. This proved to be a great experience for students and staff. Many thanks to Travis, Maria, Sally and Adrian from PWC-Cambridge for organising this excellent workshop!
