Carrie is awarded an MBE!

Since then nearly 200 young people have benefited from the programme of academic and personal and social education provided at the Learner Centres set up by the charity that Carrie founded. Recovering from the effects of the bullying and unkind treatment they have sustained, their self-esteem is restored, they re-discover their love of learning, come to terms with their past experiences, get back on an academic track, and return to mainstream education, once again able to participate in life.
